National Planning Institute Concludes Professional Diploma “Preparing Cultural Leaders” for Employees of the General Authority for Culture Palaces

The National Planning Institute (NPI) concluded the professional diploma program “Preparing Cultural Leaders” for 27 trainees from the General Authority for Culture Palaces (GACP). The program was held from 1 to 23 December 2024, reflecting the institute’s commitment to enhancing the efficiency of state institutions and investing in human capital by building their cognitive and creative capacities across various fields.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashraf Salah El-Din, NPI Vice President for Training, Consultations, and Community Service, Dr. Manal Allam, Head of the Central Administration for Cultural Leadership Preparation at GACP and Dr. Ahmed Ashour, Academic Supervisor of the Diploma.

Program Highlights

Dr. Ahmed Ashour presented the final evaluation of the diploma to ensure output quality, verify expected outcomes, and assess the training’s impact on participants.

Dr. Ashraf Salah El-Din emphasized that the program aimed to equip participants with:

  • Key concepts of strategic thinking, planning, and institutional development.
  • Methods to design and implement strategic plans using scientific approaches.
  • The critical role of leadership in strategic planning, institutional development, and change management.

He added that the training was delivered by a selected group of NPI professors and experts, covering:

  • The principles of strategic thinking for sustainable development.
  • Tools and levels of strategic planning and institutional advancement.
  • The impact of effective leadership on organizational growth.

Dr. Manal Allam praised the fruitful collaboration between NPI and GACP, noting that the diploma empowers cultural professionals with advanced leadership skills to enhance team performance and drive efficiency in cultural institutions.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to successful trainees and a commemorative photo session.
